For Nurses

Join a team that treats you right.

We're building Joy Care Unit the way we wish agencies were run — with fair pay, flexible scheduling, real clinical support, and the respect you've earned. If you're an RN or LPN who wants meaningful pediatric work, we'd love to talk.

Why Joy Care Unit

What makes working here different.

01

Competitive Pay

We pay market-leading rates for pediatric private duty nursing in the Treasure Valley, with premiums for nights and weekends. We believe nurses should be paid for the skill and responsibility the work actually requires.

02

Flexible Scheduling

Choose shifts that fit your life. We staff day, night, weekend, and full-time positions — and work with you to find the schedule that works. If you need to flex around school, family, or another job, we can make it work.

03

1:1 Family Relationships

No rotating floor assignments, no 6-patient loads. You'll work with one family at a time, building deep clinical knowledge of one child and the relationships that make long-term pediatric care meaningful.

04

Real Clinical Support

You'll have clinical leadership you can actually reach. Not a voicemail box, not a supervisor who doesn't know your case — real nurses who know your patient, available when you need backup, coverage, or guidance.

05

Family-First Matching

We don't throw you into a case that isn't a fit. Our matching process considers your experience, preferences, and personality — and you'll always meet the family before committing. If it's not right, we keep looking together.

06

Room to Grow

As we grow, so do the opportunities. We're building clinical leadership roles and specialty tracks from the ground up. Nurses who help us build Joy Care Unit will have first access to what comes next.

Who We're Hiring

Are you the right fit?

We're recruiting licensed RNs and LPNs in Idaho who are passionate about pediatric care — whether you have years of pediatric experience or you're a skilled adult-care nurse ready to transition into peds.

What we look for

What the work looks like

Most of our nurses work 12-hour shifts in a family's home, caring for one pediatric patient. You'll follow a nursing care plan, document assessments and interventions, communicate with the family and our clinical team, and provide the steady, skilled presence that makes home care possible.

"We're building the kind of agency we'd want to work for — one that treats nurses like the skilled professionals they are." — Sammi, Founder
